The best thing that worked for me was to wear a nursing tank underneath a flowy blouse/button-up top. The clothing options for nursing/pregnant mothers are definitely lacking.

Yes! And normal tops with buttons/wrap fronts. Avoid sheath/shift dresses entirely while still pumping.

Wrap dresses work well. Also loose fitting tops with a nursing tank underneath.

Do you really need nursing wear for the office? I wore an underwire nursing bra but then just took off my normal shirt or dress to pump in the privacy room.

like

Just wear a blazer over the nursing top

I’m heading back to work soon and everything is so ugly! My plan is def loose blouses but luckily I will only go in twice a week

I went to Chico’s. Their travelers collection didn’t wrinkle and fit before and after pregnancy.

Personally I find maternity wear so unfitting, unstylish and makes you look 10 lbs heavier. During my pregnancy I just picked ‘normal’ dresses and clothes in a bigger size. It worked well.

Honestly I always took my top off entirely to nurse. It was more convenient.

Do you all feel guilty about flying/ubering so much in the midst of the climate change crisis? I think we should...How do you balance personal ethics about this with work needs?

I’m from a low-income family, the only one who went to college) and already make more @25 (140k) than my blue-collar parents ever did in their life. There is clear resentment, judgment, jealousy from family regards to my life/ income to where I stopped sharing vacation plans/ posting about my adventures. Has anyone else been in this position? How do you manage it?

Looks like a massive Exodus happened in Deloitte? Trying to staff a project and there is literally no one to staff with (at least Salesforce practice) and we are having to reach out to contractors. Is this a result of layoffs that happened last year and folks are purely unhappy with pay (not considering project pressure as that can vary/be subjective)? For folks who have been here for a long time, is this a common occurrence or is it especially bad this time around?

Advice- I am new to consulting/Accenture from industry, I have been asked to charge 40/45 hrs a week but I get all my work done in less than 20 hrs. As a Christian I charged the exact hours worked which is 18hrs but my SM is not happy with that. What am I supposed to do? Any one ever have this issue of finishing tasks in less time?
