Looking for career advice!
Im a new starter in FDD as a Senior, qualified and am sitting for CFA L2. I want to make sure I'm doing everything right to maximise my chances of landing a FO role in a PE/Fund or ER/M&A role at an BB/EB.
A few I've heard so far:
- Get infra deals exp
- Network aggressively
- Leave within 1 yr

associates exist, directly from school, in some of the bigger offices, so I wouldn’t really call seniors entry level.
The firms with senior associates at the bottom usually don’t hire those people out of undergrad. So by definition it’s not entry level
This^ - I just recently swapped from senior associate in consulting to Sr associate in TAS and the firm indicated that yes, the SR is the lowest, but they don’t hire out of college
