Why do firms expect good work but averse to filing visa/GC for Asians?

So 3 months after leaving a firm they have not paid the expenses on a corporate card…every time I reach out to HR they claim they can’t get proxy to my account. Ok then pay me so I can pay it. Amex is starting collections. I’ve also not been reimbursed for mileage, and other expenses. Do I need to file a claim in small claims court?

Please excuse my innocence, but the way it looks is that it seems so to be worth it to join a firm that allows personal card vs Corp amex. Thoughts?

how do you conduct research before booking an international business ticket, I have 300K Amex points and it will take a few days to transfer to anywhere Delta, Etihad, British.. it's a messy process.

Recently got the Amex blue cash preferred card with 6% cash back on groceries. How is this applied? I can't seem to figure if the money is coming off statements automatically or if I have to do something to gain the value. Also whats the easiest way to see how much you've earned from this? How easy is it to get a tourist visa extended for parents? Parents’ US 10 year visa expires next summer. Both have retired now so I’m worried if they apply to extend it, the US consulate may reject it on the grounds that they don’t have any business in India. I’m in the US on green card and can draft something stating I can support their tourist visits. Would that make it better or worse? Thanks!

Just curious, are there companies out there ready to sponsor H1Bs for international hires? I’m not a Canadian citizen thus the TN visa won’t be applicable for me. My manager likes me to give him a daily morning breakdown of what I’m going to accomplish and at the end of they day a small report of what I accomplished. And throughout the day activities I’m working on and have finished. I’m tired of this, how can I bring this up? Also when client has a particular ask, he responds only to us in the thread and says to complete the task. Then he responds to everyone (client) saying yes absolutely will get it done. He kisses ass non stop. I’m tired of this.
