Could you tell me how to charge on Furlough on timesheet. I am new in this organization and hearing furlough for the first time. I am taking leave half of the furlough period and my manager told me you can charge on furlough for the rest but i don't see any option on timesheet for furlough.
Please help.

I grew up in 2 out of 3 metros you mentioned, currently live in Chicago, and am contemplating a move to LA.
1. Cali has great weather.
2. Cali has more amenities/ things to do
3. Compared to southern cities, Cali’s terrain is unmatched
4. Cali has more diverse culture
5. Just because a city is vibrant doesn’t mean that it is as vibrant as cities in Cali. Everything is relative.
The whole point of making money is to do the things you want to do. You won’t go hungry or homeless on $250K in Cali.
Yes please. No one from California calls it "Cali." (Incidentally, I stay here because my husband and I were born and raised here and our families are here.)

Why isn’t anyone here talking about kids, is everyone here in Chill & cruise mode ? All I hear is food/weather/people etc… what about schools and raising kids ? Maybe I am the only here overly concerned about kids and probably shouldn’t

That’s what the suburbs are for. And there are a fair number of reasonable/affordable suburbs with great schools, family friend vibe and all.
Long time California resident here. Those of us who live here know why it's worth staying. There is and always will be one major downside: traffic is horrendous on every freeway, except between 2 AM to 5 AM 🤣
