Huh, the men in their 30’s eat better than I do. (humblebrag, I ate ramen and Nutella on a spoon for a two course meal last night). I see them always eating salad/soup/sushi for lunch and splurging on dinner after their workouts. They also all own kitchen gadgets like sous vide and pasta machines, and tell me about their new recipes they cooked with their wife. I saw one eat a pretzel once and was internally shocked he was actually eating sugary refined carbs.
I don’t know anyone who does this

I had a lunchables for breakfast (ham & cheese crackers)

I’m a 34 year old woman and I do this. I like candy and I don’t want to gain weight. So when I want candy, I eat candy and not much else. Not healthy, not great but it’s my life. 😂🤷♀️
This!
In my 30s and I have terrible eating habits bc of adhd meds. They suppress your appetite
I end up eating a lot at night when the meds wear off.

This is my dad.
I ate a bag of pretzel sticks yesterday and skipped breakfast and lunch. Tbf I usually skip breakfast though
I’m a woman in my 30’s and have horrendous eating patterns because of my depression and anxiety. Maybe that’s what the guys you mention are going through. Also could be their upbringing and personal circumstances. Maybe these people never learned to take care of themselves for whatever reason (always catered to by parents for example), and are now floundering.
This is it for me (male in mid-20s). Mild depression suppresses my desire to take care of myself.
I run upwards of 100K/week, do some bomb ass plant-based meal prepping, and blend smoothies after all my big runs. But I also have been guilty of eating M&M’s for breakfast.
Honestly, it’s a matter of “huh, I haven’t had M&M’s in a while” then buy a pound and being a lazy fuck the morning after.
I’m also not from the US.
I know men who do this ! It’s weird
Sounds like my 30 year old boyfriend. Mostly lazy.
Ppl eat what they want to eat. Idk what to tell you op

I’m in my late 30s, male and I eat pretty healthy. I get exercise every day, even if it’s just walking the dog some days. Hardly eat fast food, cook at home 90% of the time and balanced meals. My wife is pescatarian so I don’t eat as much red meat as I used to. Hard to cook big red meat based meals just for myself and when I do, I have leftovers for days. I also like beer so I try to offset that by eating healthier than I used to.

You are talking about American men, right? Americans have a terrible diet in general, why do you think covid deaths are so high in this country? There is a direct corollary there.

Wonder if this is related to the “popcorn for dinner” post a few weeks ago 😂
