Yeah. Always. Probably a form of anxiety
No, it’s a form of life
Had the same feeling, ended up getting fired
Because your company doesn’t really GAF about you.
Not far off…towards the end I just decided to stop working and let the process work itself out
It's either anxiety or you're working in a toxic environment that's making you feel afraid.
It is because the companies want you to feel like that so they can have more power over you. They can keep assigning you more work and pushing you extra hours without the extra pay. Try taking breaks and don't take work too seriously. They won't care about you if a recession comes.
Literally always feel this way! Last week my boss called me on a day I was scheduled off to ask where I was and I had a panic attack. I thought for sure they were going to fire me but they didn't.
I thought managing director would feel safer job-security wise!

Hahaha this happened to me everyday while I was working in IB. The secret is: look for something else to do. I started working in Private Banking and this fear disappeared
100% same
Fired or laid off, whichever happens I'd not let it get to me beyond the first shock. Good riddance is the way to feel about it.
