Do companies hire for specifically DevOps roles? What is the interview process like? And is the definition of DevOps different for different companies?

I've already been through two round of interviews and my last one is just a mock client presentation otherwise I would try and say "after learning more about the role my range has changed". I don't think I can spin that now.

I oversee a very fast-paced program with a very prickly client. I’m one of three people who have been on the account for 6+ months. It is recognizably by many senior leaders a very very difficult account. We recently brought in a project manager who digs in her heels on process and remains very inflexible. I know she means well but I end up spending more time babying her and reiterating that my direction is strategic. She’s incredibly nice just tiring to work with. Advice?

Judgmental on those who don’t dress professionally for work regardless of title. I feel if you work in certain professions, you need to dress the part while in the office and client-facing.

We worked for months on a brand platform. we cracked the platform, the client bought in, so we had to come up with ideas on the platform. Another team got involved to help out. The client picked one of the ideas of the other team, which is basically a thing we presented, but no one seems to remember. I'm a little bit frustrated because we've put months of work in and it looks like another team will get the reward: making something.

Should i discuss that with my CD or will i look petty?
