I'm a woman in tech, and over the course of my career I've experienced some egregious instances of sexism. In addition to impacting my career progression, it's made me a lot more bitter and reactive than I'd like to be, which I find obviously detrimental particularly in continued male dominated workplaces.

Has anyone ever been rejected from B4/T2 but accepted by MBB? I’ve interviewed at pretty much every firm you can imagine in the last 6 months and made it to a few final rounds but haven’t gotten any offers. Struggling to muster up the energy to prepare for my MBB interviews because I can’t seem to get an offer anywhere else and I feel I’m doomed to fail.

So leveraging existing assets and lessons learn, is this a good practice? My interviewer said their company prefers to do things from the scratch. I’m very confused 😐

My manager scolded me for an output of my team member. Told that direct report to run through me his output so I could check to avoid the mistakes pointed out by my manager. Then he messaged his output to our group chat for my "peer" review. I felt insecure and disappointed. I've been trying my best to be a mentor and been really patient of their shortcomings. I just really feel down right now. I've just been promoted which means my boss appreciates me. But feels like Im not respected by my own

Me personally - Male - I’ve had better experiences working with male managers. I’ve noticed that more female managers feel disadvantaged and try extra hard to prove themselves (incredulous this happens in 2020), but in the process tend to be more demanding and stressful to work with. This is not intended to offend anyone. Just genuinely looking to learn and grow.
