Why do I usually get to the final rounds but never really get chosen (they would choose someone internally, someone from a competitor, etc)? Anyone experienced this before and what changes did you make to overcome this?

I cleared Accenture Tech round, and they have sent a mail asking to fill in EAF . Should I wait for HR discussion and then do it? One of my friends didnt have HR round for salary discussion. After Tech round, they directly sent offer letter. When he asked for HR discussion for salary negotiation, they said nothing can be done. Does this happen a lot in Accenture?

I got an opportunity from Axtria as a Senior Associate/ Lead - BIM. BIM is one of the Axtria's business vertical.

I've cleared all rounds of interviews including final HR round and salary discussion and at last HR told me that he will get back to me with next steps. It's been over a week, I did not get any response. I have called HR and he said he is checking with internal team and getback to me.

Anyone from Axtria or past employees have any idea for this kind of situation?

This year has been tough. Yes, good things happened too. Meta low ball compensation for leadership roles M1 compared to Amazon. A friend of mine just got an offer at Amazon 285k base 15% bonus and about 1mm in equity. I feel a bit jealous honestly as Meta only offered me $236k base 20% bonus and 1m in equity am I being low balled on base ? YOE 20
