Sounds like holiday time across most households.

Because some folks think that “leadership” means everyone loves hearing their voice as much as they love hearing their own - sorely mistaken and often a byproduct of a culture that rewards narcissism.
Some people process and brainstorm by talking. They invite challenge and your thoughts. They verbalize a lot to evaluate options and develop solutions because that’s how we process. Signed: such leadership.
No. The higher the role, the more you need to talk. Reaffirm what someone says. Rephrase something. Toss out something they can cause you pause. I’m so against this and very direct and to the point. Need to work on always contributing, even if it’s not necessary.
