HELP… I have a PWC interview coming up for the Financial Markets & Real Estate Tax Experienced Associate. I have Real Estate compliance experience, with a bit of audit during my intern days. My interview will be with a Principal and MD. Any advice on what to expect, how to prepare and things to look forward to? This would greatly help me. Thanks! PwC

Because society has trained people to always be “right” and to not allow outside opinions or to even consider someone with a differing opinion is also “right.”
The easiest place to see this is any work from home debate.
What do you mean by unwilling to work? As in they have a job in PA but don’t want to do it?

Congrats! I totally understand the dilemma, my wife and I were fortunate that we both are frugal and saved money before we had kids so my wife could be a stay at home mom. She is a physical therapist so her job is high in demand and also it allows her to work per diem if she wants to for additional income or to feel productive. If you’re like most people, your fear is that you can’t provide for your family and yourself. If that’s the case then, if you have 6-12 months of living expenses it gives you comfort that you have 6-12 months to look for a job, if you have a good network someone can vouch for you or even give you temporary work, if you’re constantly learning and upskilling then you are valuable to the economy and not just the firm you were at. If you can also start a side hustle, that would be even better because now you know how to create your own job. Having 6-12 months of living expenses, being in a high demand field and having a good network should give anyone the confidence to not be fearful of not being able to provide for your family or yourself. Also I’ve been let go/fired a few times and it gets easier since I’m prepared and have gotten jobs fairly quickly. Good luck and congrats again!
