Guys I really need your advice. I accepted the offer from CTS on call for a different location. I will never relocate. Should I resign based on this offer. What's the probability I will get new offer in 3 months notice period. If on formal offer once generated by CTS on email, I deny will they consider me for my current location? Initially in all my email communication they denied my current location and I had no choice other than to accept the offer for a different location. Cognizant

It's not just money. All service based companies are running on old policies which are not very employee friendly.
You have to work for a client and report to 2 managers basically
Your work and learning depends on client
Your manager focuses on pleasing client manager
Most service companies have a 3 month notice period. Not much remote or WFH policies.
Recently I have joined a product company, they didn't negotiate my salary, just gave as per my expectation with a joining bonus.
The job is full remote, which means I can work and travel from anywhere
I got subscription for practo medical app for me and my family members.
In service companies you are billed for a task, here I'm working on whole architecture, infrastructure, cloud for the whole organization, not just simple repetitive tasks.
More over salary appraisal are great in product companies than service companies

There are pros and cons for both ,you have to decide on the basis of factors which are most important to you. According to me most of things for wlb depends on team and manager. Which you can get in any of them. but one thing in service is that there is client which in some cases might affect wlb. In product major companies give lot of benefits over and above ctc, tech wise you the product might have old tech on which product is built but they do evolve and rebuild with new ones.You will get more challenging work in product. appraisals are also good. in service you can change project easily
In service you may not get the desired project and appraisals are poor
