Why do people walk their dogs in strollers?

Either because the dog is old or is a smaller dog that would tire from a long walk.

The dog is probably old and/or small. Or the owner (especially if elderly) doesn’t feel comfortable walking their dog in a leash in the city.

I love seeing elderly women with their tiny dogs in their strollers 😊

Our dog needed one near the end, when her heart was struggling and she would lose energy on walks. She still wanted to walk part of the time but needed to rest

like

If they get tired and don‘t walk anymore (can be several factors like age, heat, surgery, or just laziness but the owner still wants to be out)

like

So many reasons!
I have a stroller for my senior dog. I use it when she has had medical issues or is feeling tired.
She loves walks but can’t always walk herself so it is very helpful to still get her (and me) out of the house.
Also, especially in NYC, the pavement can get super hot and burn dogs’ paws so I would definitely use it if we had to be somewhere during hot pavement hours.

Please take pic of this because I haven't seen it and I've been here all my life 😂😂

Nope not Staten Island. Grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Went to school in Manhattan for most of my life. Didnt't really see many dogs in strollers. Seems like a new thing

If you want to get to the park quickly, or save the dogs energy for the destination. My dog will stop to sniff everything and isn’t a breed with much stamina; letting him walk when there’s sizable distance takes far too much time.

Anyone else notice a trend with the mass amounts of layoffs in tech? Why are all their resumes so jumpy? Not like 2-5 years jumpy, like few months at a time jumpy? But still can land a position with similar tech giants? IMO, lots of these people get hired by their rich friends, stay a few months before someone realized they aren’t qualified and were just a recommendation from a current employee. Then repeat that process over and over until your company is down 50%
