Why do QQQ instead of TQQQ for long term hold?

Triple levered funds are way to risky for long term holding. Make sure you understand how they work. It is not how many think they work.

like

Because TQQQ also returns 300% of the QQQ’s daily losses. Leveraged funds aren’t meant to be held for more than a few days.

like

Sorry I’m a noob to QQQ, what’s the difference?

So TQQQ if you’re holding for long term?

I do hold both, tho TQ drop pretty fast when the market is down, but you should be fine if you allocate them properly. I rebalance them every quarter.

Honestly though they’re great for momentum plays. Hold QQQ and use TQQQ to lever up on it when you want to overweight it.

How does QQQJ compare? I’ve heard that’s better

Thanks! Makes sense

Hello. Anyone familiar with iBonds? I started investing a little in March of this year, and while I see the interest rate has changed from 7.12% to over 9%, I don't see my balance growing beyond what I have put in. From what I've read I thought the interest would hit monthly. Also I keep hearing that they are super safe because they're backed by the govt, but what are the actual risks? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I applied and got approved for the Chase Bonvoy Boundless card which, on the website, stated that there was an attractive sign up bonus.

Today, I received my credit card and benefits, conditions and terms materials. I don’t see that sign up bonus offer in written form anywhere in the materials I received.

Is this unusual?

New to this so any guidance is appreciated. Currently have my Roth 401k, Roth IRA, and HSA all through fidelity. 401k is invested my target retirement year fund. Both ira and hsa are fully in FXAIX, Fidelity’s 500 index fund. Is this fine? Obviously I know investing and saving is good but still learning the ins and outs
