I received the email that I am selected for Deloitte India (lateral entry for Analyst) and was asked to upload the BGV documents. 2 days post that, I had the salary negotiation with HR. But it's been a week after that, I haven't still received the offer letter. Also, just before I had got the interview call from Deloitte, I had already joined another company, and had communicated this to the HR also. Since it's already been a week, should I give up hope on receiving the offer letter? Deloitte
I've been a career coach for 17 years and it still boggles my mind that companies would ghost candidates when it is so easy to send an automatic email. Unfortunately about 50% of companies still will ghost you. When this happens tell yourself that you have dodged a bullet. This company is telling you who they are and how they care about people. Would you want to work for a company that treats people so poorly especially in such a vulnerable position?
I recently had a client interview with Dell. What an amazing experience. There are companies out there who know how to do it right.
Keep searching. Good luck!
Right now I would say don’t take it personally. Lot of places are starting to freeze hiring.

I agree with kpmg1. Also, most companies won't give feedback (beyond telling you that you were rejected).
Don't stop applying to jobs when you're interviewing. Only stop after your first day of work.
I had an experience with PWC ghosting me after 2 good interviews with their partners. I realized the job was on hold for now due to the economy even though they kept the position open to receive candidate applications.
