The past few weeks I’ve been networking and applying to roles at big 4 firms with referrals. What is the timeline of a recruiter emailing you for an interview? It's all part of the toxic culture and the constant power-plays from older physicians. It's quite sad but glad to see that doctors nowadays are doing better
Don’t take it personally, honestly 100% that doctor is stressed, and will be grateful to you one day if you pick up a mistake. Better safe than sorry. For a doctor xxx
I can see both perspectives. Could be ego. If said doc is like that all the time...sounds like ego. If not, probably just some personal issues going on. Some docs act so entitled. It’s so good that other healthcare providers on the team speak up and advocate for patients. I’ve seen doc make so many mistakes or not do things properly and then the patient doesn’t have what they need and you’re paging then to fix it.
I honestly think its because we are the backbone of the hospital and they know it. They think because they went to med school that we should never question them. But questioning them is our job! We are just doing what is best for our patients.
