To continue to feel nothing. I actually have PTSD and it’s how I self medicate because I’m still in the national guard and it’s a million hoops to get in medication. That’s just depressing to type.

Spin down the old noodle and take stock of my challenges. My partner doesn’t understand the stress, if I talk work they just tell me their problems since they are (relatively) easy for me to fix.
A few drinks in solitude helps me regroup and create a plan of attack.
Love the flavors of whiskies
I think bourbon can be more taste accessible to new whiskey drinkers than scotch. For something reasonably priced try a Woodford or Buffalo Trace. If you find potential there search on here or elsewhere for some more unique options to try.

Drink alone all the time at home. But drinking alone at a bar would be sad. I don’t do it even when travelling.
I like good wine and my husband usually falls asleep at 9 putting the kids to bed.
