Why does USPS keep losing my packages? 3rd time in the last 6 months. I don’t have any problems with UPS or FedEx

Because the current Postmaster General has $75M in stock in USPS competitors and has been actively sabotaging delivery effectiveness?

Well, that would require the Senate to take action since the President can’t remove him…

Maybe it’s regional because I’m in NYC and USPS is the only one I trust to actually get my packages delivered. UPS and FedEx have lost SO many of my packages.

I agree. FedEx is the worst. Packages are never delivered when they initially were scheduled and have had numerous “lost” packages for sometimes over a week before being found.

Defund the USPS

Are you signed up for USPS Informed Delivery? It will help track which packages are en route to you and give you an email in the morning of every piece of mail that is slated for delivery that day (as seen at your nearest sorting facility, not the local post office). I’ve found it invaluable because one postman in my area seems to be incapable of reading addresses. Knowing what mail was *supposed* to be delivered each day and comparing it to what actually does allows me to have concrete proof of failures to bring to my local Postmaster (and check with neighbors to see who got my whatever).

Just got my neighbor’s mail. Numbers are posted everywhere and they still get it wrong.

I haven’t experienced this but I agree with the previous poster who suggested Informed Delivery.

If your tracking hasn’t updated for a week to ten days, submit a Missing Mail request on the USPS website. USPS will magically find your parcel in five days to two weeks.

Ever since they stopped using Beatles music in their commercials everything has gone downhill.
