Why doesn’t Deloitte offer secondment opportunities to junior staff like other firms?

Because we’re made up of member firms - which are all separate companies / entities. Even when we do work with Deloitte in other countries, we need to sign contracts with them because we are not the same entity technically ... hence it’s harder to offer secondments or transfers because we’re different orgs, you technically need to quit one to work for the other (and get re-hired). There are some internal roles / project opps posted always but they are always few & far between.

I think that’s a wrong assumption. PwC has the same structure with separate entities and still has secondments.

What are secondment opportunities? Please elaborate thanks!

like

We do. It’s called global mobility and it’s available basically to anyone, as long as there’s demand in the hosting country (which isn’t always the case of course)

like

We do secondments. Source: have been on a secondment.

They’re just hard to find. Probably a lot fewer of them right now though...

Last week team dynamics took a turn for the worst (even tho in each retro the team always commend each other, you would think team work is great). Team members get agitated with each other for being slow. Is it okay that I’ve been a slow junior as we’re hours away from closing? I’m trying to be proactive and available to cross things off the list but I’m SLOW: takes me long enough that they do it themselves (even though this wasn’t an issue earlier in the deal) and even on quick tasks or emails, they respond to it before I can click send. There’s also so much about closing that I don’t understand and I feel like I’m bothering the higher-ups on the team whenever I ask. *end anxiety post*

Hi guys 👋🏻
This is regarding the interest amount of our EPF.

For you guys,is the interest details showing any amount in the EPFO member passbook? Or is it showing '0' like me(As seen in the photo below)?

Is the government yet to credit the interest amounts of our PF balances? Or is something wrong with my PF account only?

Any inputs will be really appreciated 🙂
