Hi Fishes, Right now I'm bursting my brains to make a decision which company to join and request your help. I have an offer from tcs for 13.5LPA and nagarro for 18LPA both for the role of associate project manager. I have been a lead at infosys with 8yoe. Keeping in mind that this is the first time i will be a manager please suggest which company is best to learn and secure as the global recession has already begun. TIA #nagarro #tcs Tata Consultancy Infosys Nagarro

Deloitte question. I have always gotten a raise each year, the only question I ask is how much of a raise do I get. But I’m hearing from former Deloitte folks, it is naive to expect annual raises each year however small/big they are? And how does this play in Deloitte consulting vs advisory? Do one tend to withhold annual raises in base salary over the other, or is this just a deloitte culture thing? Looking at exit opportunities all over. So lmk! I’d Rather get a small raise than none at all.

No. I just went through one they just verify employment and look at your credit. Essentially making sure you don't have any issues in particular criminal. When I joined EY it was very comprehensive but didn't include salary.
Wow, you think if you permit someone to do a full credit check by your ss# they can’t see what your income is and sources of income???
They can’t verify this. They may ask your previous employer, but they are not obligated to reveal.
C1 is completely wrong.
^ this guy is a bafoon. A credit report has nothing to do with verifying previous income.

Also pretty sure they can only verify if they ask for a W-2 or pay stub. Which none of the consulting companies I know do.
Haha, they do dummy. When you apply to companies you provide your social security number and permission to do a credit check. Companies always know what their candidates make if not from the credit check than directly from your employer, they basically look at how much you lie
Companies can tell from the credit check? Never heard of this before
Good to know! Really good to know!
C1 no. They can probably make a guess based on my mortgage, and that wouldn't be accurate as we are a double income family. But for the most part they want to know if you are felon, if you have a ton of debt or if you are a candidate to steal stuff. The one I just did pulled credit requested employment information but no salary and education. For EY they have a service that handles and I didn't authorize my salary to be released. I would only do that for a mortgage
Dumbass, you think the credit report you get from credit karma is the same as the products sold to mortgage companies and employers? Wtf.
Ugh, my fiancé works in HR recruiting and yes yes they do know your salary. I don’t care what kind of report you call it, but based on your social and permissions you’ve given they know your salary and like many things on your application they are looking at how much you have lied
^ sounds very illegal. Can someone confirm this? Idk why @c1 sounds so certain
I work in the HR field as well and he's wrong. Unless they have asked, now some companies as a matter of policy will only disclose the dates of employment and salary. So it's possible but. I know that EY won't disclose unless we allow it.
None of the firms I know of disclose salary.
