Why have unions become so powerless in recent years? A decade ago, the collective bargaining units would get wage increases that matched or exceeded inflationary growth. Now we are lucky to see any positive integer offered.

US Taxation question: I’m an Indian citizen who for the last 4 years was a Non-Resident Alien and got some extra deduction on top of the standard $12K through an India-US tax treaty.
