Why HR from SAP are not negotiating like other companies...Any Specific Reason ?? This i heard from many of the members...

Because SAP is dream company for many sap developers and they are willing to take less .

Sap knows this and they receive many applications. Also they don't hire in bulk and have multiple candidates to choose from.

But this only true for Sap related Technology like ABAP, or functional.

If you have skills in open source tech like java etc , SAP is not top choice for employees. SAP can negotiate on such skills as it's hard to find candidates

They also have specific budjet for a band and can't exceed that. So if you want to negotiate, negotiate for band which would result in better salary.

They may say no, you can still Join Sap

Sap is definitely better than Big4 in many ways and difference is not big.

Need some honest advice!

I'm working as a project manager in a product based company, and can also consider roles such as technical project manager, technical account manager in the future if I need to switch.
I'm thinking of going for an MBA and switching to a Consultant/Product manager role.
I have some questions:

1. Are consultants/product managers more highly paid than project managers?
2. Will consultant/ product manager role be more desirable and better wrt growth/opportunities?

I’ve seen these for creative teams/briefs for example, but don’t have on handy.
