Hi folks,
I've got an offer from Netcracker recently.
Based on the salary discussion, HR released the offer with 2Lakh less as promised and now telling me over and over again that they will revice it near the joining date and this is the process they follow for every candidate so that they don't go and shop in the market.Do you think I should trust them as they haven't given me anything in written but keeps on promising me over phone calls that closer to my joining date they will revise the offer.

Because it's MEH
We are monthly as well. I believe it’s a savings for your company as it reduces the amount of payroll processing required.
Never heard of this sounds strange. I came from Verizon where we got paid weekly so nice I really miss weekly pay checks.
Monthly payments are also common outside the US
If you care how often you are paid you need some financial planning in your life
Yeah that monthly cycle is really rough to get used to at first at BAH. No idea why they do it but I hated it initially. It's great once you get paid a few times though.
I actually found monthly easier to budget. They do it to save money (interest) and likely bc the fed is a terrible at paying their bills on time
A.T. Kearney is also monthly. It just means you have to budget monthly, which you should be doing anyways... plan to have a few months cash flow buffer, which would smooth the ~2 week transition period
Having consulted on payroll consolidation on merger integration - BCG1 is right. I’ve never minded at all. Makes sense to save your company money.
Yeah it sucks the first couple of months but now I prefer it actually. Makes budgeting each month easier.
