This is non-trivial. You're both young, talented, aggressive - competitive. If you're in it for the long term, then you will have some tough decisions to make someday. Whose career comes first if there is an oppty in another city, say? Who steps back from career to take care of kids? Or will you hire full time Childcare and both pursue career? And most importantly, what are the assumptions that each of you are making now, often unconsciously, about these things? Equality is tough. Rewarding too, but it takes a lot of effort

I like D1's answer. I also think it can be fun to date someone who's in the same position - as a couple you're financially able to do more than the vast majority of the population, and being with someone who is high ambition can be highly motivating.

A1 that's the dream right. If say the biggest pit fall or at least the one I'm currently experiencing is making schedules line up to get to the point of healthy relationship. OP it's hard and I think D1s got it spot on for why

D1 you're right. Ppl can deny being in the Same place career wise isn't important to finding love but don't want to be the one to put their career down. As a female, this is esp complex
