Why is it that most people online seem to be living this influencer fast life, when I make good money but after loans/rent/401k can’t afford to go to Europe 5x a year?

Be careful with thinking that stuff is “real” or “normal”. You may not know how they are financing stuff, they could be in hella debt, etc.

“Keeping up with the Joneses” is a real issue. Don’t measure your success based on others, measure against your past self. Just my 2cents

Because the people living that life are probably not paying back loans or contributing to their 401k, or they have family money

This, these are the same people complaining and asking for loan forgiveness...

The only other way is if you travel for work.. I used to do 2 or 3 international/EU trips for work pre covid and probably 1 or 2 personal trips so if I started posting it might look different.

You gotta sell a course

It's called credit card debt

You obviously need the cash, but it goes much further if you can travel tax free for your "business".

It’s fake. I promise you. When this storms comes you’ll see how many no longer “influence”

100%, it is absolutely not real

Delete that piece of garbage and live a better life

They may have financial backing that we are not aware of

Because they have a travel blog and get free vacations to post things. They are not working, paying for flights, and begging for PTO. But some of us choose to be fiscally responsible and picked a 401k instead and so stay home grinding and not posting online.

Find cheap flights, travel with a low footprint, and minimize recurring expenses to the bone

Priorities and camera angles

Question for my Advertising Moms!

I recently came back from maternity leave after my first child. My team and bosses are super supportive, but I wish there was more support within the agency. For example, a Moms group to lean on for advice and support.

Do any agencies have Moms groups? If so, how do they support Moms transitioning back to work?
For those that don’t, what would you want from a Moms group?
