Art teachers, are you going to teach about or using the AI art generators that are springing up on the internet? I am astounded at how quickly this is advancing. If you don’t know what I’m referring to, just search for AI art on social media, or the newest one stability.ai or search for #stablediffusion to see some of the pictures. There is also a lot of ai generated text now, including news articles and blogs.

Extra regulations & boring AF
Not sure if you wanted this long of a response, but here is the deal...
You have a federal governing body (the FDA) that regulates the industry. All branded marketing efforts are submitted to the FDA and subjected to review. Any “violations” such as overstated efficacy, lack of safety balance (to name a couple), are often severe. Pharma companies can be fined anywhere from thousands to billions (yes billions). At the very least, the pharma company could receive a letter that says the piece(s) needs to be pulled from the market and/or revised.
Because of this, pharma companies have established internal review committees to review all materials and ensure any risk is mitigated. Adding weeks to often very tight timelines that coincide with sales meetings, drug approvals and other timely market events.
This intern, impacts everything that’s developed. You’re operating under the constant optic of not only doing things well and strategic, but also being compliant, with extremely tight deadlines. Room for error is zero. Zero. Did I say... zero?
Stress is often high, with long hours (yes, most advertising is as well), but due to immovable deadlines and very heavy workloads, many pharma accounts have higher stress than non-pharma accounts. I know this because I’ve worked for large networks that have both pharma and non-pharma in the same building.
Uh.. it’s the drugs.
