Why do consulting firms keep doing this to themselves? What went wrong with America’s $44 million vaccine data system? The CDC ordered software that was meant to manage the vaccine rollout. Instead, it has been plagued by problems and abandoned by most states. https://www.technologyreview.com/2021/01/30/1017086/cdc-44-million-vaccine-data-vams-problems/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
How do you guys find mentors?
LEK Consulting interview scheduled for next week - for an Associate position. There is one “quant” and one “strategy” case. I am trying to understand if quant is analogous to market sizing while strategy is analogous to ?? I am not a consultant so I’m struggling on the best method to prepare for these. ^ did you even read the OP's question? I'd strongly advise you to not take the GMAT and/or apply to bschool until you get your shit together in reading comprehension...
Probably many successful people see it as stepping stone so don't wait long before applying
GMAT is negatively correlated with age, and GMAT scores at M7 are, on average, higher than in other schools (say top15 - M7).
My hypothesis is that the biggest factor being higher % of matriculants with IB / consulting background, those who are coming for MBA after 2 - 3 years
Unfounded confidence following a display of incompetency. You're the total package.
Humor, You'll get it one day
Taking a wild guess here, if you're going to spend that much $$ you may as well do it early enough in your career to have a significant salary impact?
27 to 28 but I am applying at 25 cause why not
By other schools do you mean the rest of the top 25 or literally all other schools?
P1 youre a natural! Already answering completely different questions than what was asked - impressive. You don't need the MBA, but I'm sure it will accelerate what you already have coming to you. Soon you'll be able to tell people that they have problems that they don't actually have, without even listening to what their problems actually are. You probably deserve to be CEO before 30.
SC-1 Agreed. These skills make me a damn good consultant
I'm less confident that you will lol
