I'll be honest, any violence after the burning of the Quran is uncalled for.
Firstly, Quran's message is the only thing that exists. Quran was written down in book form after the Holy Prophet's demise, and rules on handling the Quran (wudhu, no putting the Quran on the ground etc...) are all based on post revelation customs / norms to give the book respect.
Secondly, any reaction achieves nothing. As long as rules are consistent (i.e. disrespect for other gods / religious texts would be treated the same way) that's what matters. The only reason I feel desecration of Quran might become more common place is because we Muslims react in a manner the far right instigators want us to.
Quran is the message, and that is untouchable by those morons.
As a thought experiment; would you react the same way if someone destroyed a mobile phone with the Quran app downloaded on it. If not, maybe you are just assigning to much importance to paper and not its message.

A1 it absolutely is. You can disagree and present your point of view but that way you did it was wrong. It just discredits anything you say after. The fact that you can’t acknowledge that is troubling. The fact that you are likely “fasting” while saying so is even more troubling because you missed the very point of the month.
And just like that, we are 10 steps backwards again.
