Why people are excited for RTO or its just to impress managers. I heard in every meeting one or other person advocates about rto infront of leadership team. Dont they consider 10hrs of working plus travel time of atleast 1hr 30mins daily and traffic. Just trying to understand what is driving them for RTO. I am ok with 3 day or more wfh and 2 days or less office reporting. Healthy discussion please. Share your thoughts

I am getting offered in the 75-80K range for an AVP audit role with Citi, C12. Travel role- up to 75%. 6 yoe in the industry.
I was being offered another C12 role a few months back that was in another business line, but 10K more a year. Same market- Kansas City. Worked for Citi before. This wouldn’t really be much of a pay bump for me unless the bonus potential is there as well.

I tired to switch the company for Growth & Learning, Got 60k + WFH offer. My current company matched the offer (60k + WFH). The company helped me a lot in my bad times (Covid, Mom's illness, my operation etc).
Can I think of switching the company after 6 months and expect 90k-100 from the next company?

Hey all, I’ve recently joined EY consulting from another Big 4 and have noticed there’s no discipline (at least in my team) around codes and charging time. People either charge a standard 7 hrs or some will charge time spent on internal activities to their client code.

I was told that “the last person to charge their actual hours worked was promptly booted off the project”.

I trained on .net and then after I supported .net application. After 3 years I got to work on ssrs reports. We build reports from scratch in ssrs, then I worked on qlik view application. Attended training on qlik sense. My question is for which openings/certificate I have to look .net (I have only support knowledge) or reporting tools like ssrs, qlik view ? I am struggling to choose with the way to upgrade myself.
