Really looking for a way to turn around a toxic building culture with staff to staff bullying, cliques/social isolation, hard feelings on big topics (racism, non acceptance of gender identity). Last year the staff polarized with the lead bully whom I helped leave. And the lead gossip (who was my secretary) that gained their sympathy and turned them against me. She also left. Now I need to regain trust and eliminate unacceptable teacher behaviors. Open to any and all advice.
Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture

I posted a few weeks ago about a micromanaging boss I’ve been working with & how I switched firms and felt it was a mistake. I started interviewing again and got a great industry offer! Culture seems like a better fit too. That being said, I intend to resign this week (will be 2 months since I started at my current firm). Is it okay to say I’m resigning due to “personal reasons”? And how do I handle my micromanager of a boss if he tries to get more out of me? I am not great with confrontation.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Post attending those PAM metrics sessions and getting a sneak peak into how our compensation is driven, the above is putting me into dilemma of the P intentions.
Is it ordinary for PAP to ask Ms to fill time on some side hustle project. How will it hurt me in my year end take away?

It’s the “special” P/AP gossip everyone refers to because you get an email whenever a new P or AP joins and you get an email whenever a P or AP leaves. It’s not that special - don’t fret.
OP - it’s a Sunday night/holiday in the US. But all the emails she’s sent have been for new people on India offices or EU offices where it was Monday morning and not a holiday. Perhaps find something else to get upset over?
“I am sending this email at a time that works for me. Please respond at a time that works for you”
Please just assume that this is the unsaid ending to every email. You’re an AP - you should get this by now.
