Why there is so many salary difference between each sector?
In mechanical Engineering field 10 years of experience professional paid 1.2 to 1.5 times but in software field the experienced person paid 3x times.

Eventhough both companies YOY profit are in same level.

YOY price of the basic things get increasing which is directly impacting less paid peoples.
They forced to reduce there expenses.
How to overcome these situation?

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. About 3 months ago I moved to a new team within my company. The new role came with a higher pay structure and a senior title. My company is currently giving out performance and salary evaluations for next year, and although I had a great evaluation, I received no salary adjustment because I was just “promoted”.
