Infosys: 21 lpa(18.5 fixed + 2.5 VP)
UST Global: 24.5 lpa(22.5 fixed + 2 VP)

I’m a tax manager with over 10 years of experience (5 years public, 4 in industry, and back to public for 3 but in “transformation”). I got burnt out during covid and took a break from work. I have an internal transfer offer to FDD but am also interviewing with PWC. Does it make sense to leverage the fact that I already have an offer in my PWC interviews? My thinking is it could be a pro to show one firm already thinks I am a good candidate for FDD coming from audit, but I know my internal transfer salary is way lower than what I would be offered by PWC so don’t want to unintentionally open that can of worms and lowball myself.

Does anyone ever just wish you were in IB? I feel like we work just as hard, and I’m not I to accounting as much as I thought. I can put up with the hours and the pay is just ridiculously different.

Anyone know when FDD/Deal Advisory hiring will slow down? I want to wait until I get my annual rating back (I’ll be rated tier 1 or 2) and pass my cpa exams (only BEC left) to make my profile more competitive. I also have a rotation coming up in CMAAS (advisory) which should also help. But im scared of waiting too long to apply and missing out on the hiring frenzy that’s been going on. Any thoughts?
