Slalom D.C. 🐠, what is the culture like there? What type of work/industries you focus on? I’ve heard good things but nothing specific about D.C. and i gather Slalom varies quite a bit by market.
I have 5 years of experience in Client facing roles. I am expecting an offer from KPMG for the Software Engineering Associate role in the LA area. What is the salary I can ask or negotiate for if given an offer?
I was made redundant in September (less than 1YOE), and this week I learned that they hired someone to my position the month after - how should I feel about this? Is this normal?
CEO from a good start-up messages me on LI saying I come highly recommended for a role they're headhunting and wants to jump on a call. I'm happy with where I am at but want to keep the relationship warm. How should I proceed? Do I accept the call, or straight up say "no thank you not for me"?
Does everyone have an exit for Accounting? I’ve been searching for industry opportunities but nothing really stands out. I have previous GL Accounting prior to risk so I have a decent pool of options to choose from. I like the work I do in public minus the billable work and the crazy over time.

Is it normal in Big 4 to: 1. Assign tasks with least amount of direction, context and criticize for not thinking on the feet? 2. Assign more than one task at the same time and push for updates on all?

1.5 hour ‘technical fault’ related domestic US flight delay. Are we eligible for any compensation?

Salary range for exp associate level (1-2 years of consulting exp) at PwC advisory based out of ATL? In tech consulting
In my first year of big law and hours at my sweat shop firm are already getting to me. Recently got an email from a recruiter promoting a fully remote lit associate position with a 1600 hrs reqmt at a less than 50 atty law firm and essentially what is old Cravath scale pay. Does anyone have experience with a move like this? Too good to be true? I was under the impression that positions with low billables for big law (or close to big law) pay don’t really exist…
TFW you get upgraded to first because you're on a Monday night flight (w/no status) 😳😅😌
What's the general thought on 'Network Engineers' in the tech industry. They are not certified engineers but can go through tough certification examinations for credentials.
