Will all the A2 PwC audit peeps get promoted to senior this upcoming July? Or is it still 3 busy seasons to senior?

Not at all. PwC is encouraging and pushing for associates to get promoted after the second year, but you still have to earn it.

If you are gunning for early promotion I would talk with your RL and your seniors/managers on your jobs to come up with tangible steps you can take to prove you are ready for promotion. On top of that, you need a business case, but that is something your RL and bosses can assist with if you’re ready for promotion

Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
