Had few doubts :
1. How is work related to devops and cloud ?
2. Since the tavisca is taken over by JPMC , are all policies and benefits are now applicable to current tavisca employees ?
3.Also if someone can share about pay / bonus / salary structure ( i would discuss this with HR once i clear all rounds )

Is it rude/unethical to apply for a job with no real intention of taking the position if I get it? I don’t think they’ll be able to match my salary and I’d have to pay back my signing bonus but am curious what they’re offering. How valid do you all think Glassdoor salary ranges are? Backstory; old company was acquired by a new company week 1 of my employment. (3 years ago). Was poking around at the salary ranges for my position and it seems I am vastly being underpaid. I don’t even know where I would begin to start this conversation with my boss or HR. I did take a significant pay cut when I took this job cause I was desperate- but now seeing the new company ranges they are much more on par to what I had been making.

I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary.
