Has anyone transitioned from being an Account Executive into a CSM at a new company? If so, how’d you do it and what was the process like?

Advice needed! I interviewed with my favorite company 3 months ago for a role I was interested in but had no experience. They were looking for someone with experience so they passed on me. The recruiter and I had a great relationship, she said she has a different role for me in mind and would give me a call when it opens up and told me I can reach out in a month or two. Joining GDS as Analyst 3 from recently promoted to a consultant at Deloitte India. (Exactly same level of designation)
Tried to negotiate with HR about the designation to be upgraded to Ass. Consultant but they denied.
Feeling a bit weird moving in to analyst position. Please guide me.
