Will ey do background verification before interview?

Landed a job at A top 4 private bank (JPM, CITI, MS or GS) and have a verbal offer. Now going trough the self disclosure questionnaire and I have been fired once 7 years ago due to internal politics (company tried to justify it with poor performance). I used to work in a total different industry and for a very small company. This never came up in the interviews , should I disclose it? Will it raise red flags possibly compromising my offer?

I have joined LTI one month back but after one month also i haven’t got any project call yet and they are taking some skills assessments and just for job security i have started searching other jobs and got 1 offer as well..Should i abscond from LTI???
What would be the consequences if i abscond and i have taken the salary but haven’t got the laptop yet

Applied for a role internally and feedback from 1st round interview was positive. However, I was told there’s strong external competition who have more experience in the field and likely to get the job. Hiring manager told me to consider a different open role in the team where I’d be a much better fit. The other role isn’t exactly what I was hoping for but could be a foot in the door. Has anyone had similar experiences? I don’t know whether to abandon this completely or remain persistent. Thx!

As LTI is hiring without location constraints, how is the stability in terms of location, specially for location which has smaller office like Kolkata.
