What Firm requires a drug test?

like

Best part about PA is no drug testing

like

Yea, because it's already presumed that if you want to work in PA that you must be on Some Kind of Drug

like

PwC1, banks require drug test along with background check.

like

I didn't know any firm did drug tests.

like

I believe they test for illegal drugs for most tests. They also look at the levels of the drugs. You would have to be abusing it for it to raise suspicion.

If you vape your anti anxiety "meds", maybe. But prescription medication is not checked during drug tests.

They are looking for illegal drugs, not prescriptions

ADHD medications will usually show up in drug tests. In my experience, the test center calls and you just have to show you have a valid prescription. Pretty sure anti anxiety or depression medication don't have any or the stuff they're testing for though

Is it a urine test or a blood test?

I haven't been drug tested in years,

Amen

Hi Guys, What’s your take on salary negotiation during this environment? I was laid off due to COVID in April. I just received a job offer with a much lower salary than I expected and my research indicates am being lowballed to the tune of at least $30k! I think the firm can do better because the practice area is thriving despite COVID! They’re in fact looking to hire more associates! Should I negotiate? I have been offered $115K in NYC\NJ! Am going into my third year of practice!

Hi, has anyone else been having difficulty securing a good job after graduating, and if so, how did you over come that challenge? I’m graduating in 2 weeks with a Poli Sci degree and I have had two separate interviews, the first being a very demanding law job that would have paid me almost 50% less than the pay rate of someone with experience—and the other a dead end because the interviewer felt my Poli Sci degree didn’t qualify me for a government job. (??) has anyone else experienced this?
