Will my manager get into trouble if other team members find out he wrote my letter of recommendation?

How can I get along or work better with the American-born women on my projects, especially the ones who are senior to me and/or very motivated? Always seems difficult culture clash.

My current manager is a very controlling and has perpurated a v tense culture within the team. The boss recognises that the team is stressed, but blames the team for having such an attitude. The person is a micro manager dictates things like when work pings should happen, but at the root of it all, the team is over competitive & unhappy because of the leadership. Everyone's scared to write anything in PMR or perf for the fear of being identified. I'm new to to the team, but not to Google. Help!

How do you deal with rude patrons at restaurants?

A partner put me in charge of a specific project that I ran independently. Things were going well. The client began asking me to do more and more, including revamping their system and internal trainings. The client even gave me a litigation matter. Suddenly, the partner became more involved. I was removed from meetings concerning the revamping, my trainings were cancelled, and he started micromanaging. He has now sidelined me from the project and trash talked me to the client. I am very upset.

How some people are clearing interview and then getting into a project even though they don't have any skills, no desire to learn new things, can't perform a very very simple task even though it's already documented clearly, totally burden on team members. They don't even try to do basic troubleshooting when they faced simple issues, rather asks stupid question to junior who is having only 1 years of experience and ask for solution.

Advice needed: how do I tell my boss my team sucks? I switched jobs about 4 months ago and while I like my new clients and my manager, our team is the most unprofessional, unreliable, & incapable group of people I’ve ever worked with. They require constant micromanaging & there’s been times when I’ve had to do some of their tasks for them to avoid missing deadlines. What are some good books to read if I want to learn how to better show up for the team as a manager?

Every interaction I have with my partner has become super passive aggressive. It ruins my day and I think she gets off on it. How do tell her I need her attitude to change or that we need to interact.

Our Digital marketing team is very small: Myself and the Digital Manager. I’m starting to feel that my manager is handing off projects that should be his responsibility and are projects that he doesn’t want/know how to do. Most are very analytical/reporting base, and frankly I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen him complete a reporting deck for the year that we’ve worked together. PSA: when asking questions, mentioning role, geo and level helps others give a more informed answer. The process for SWE differs vastly from CE or PgM or finance roles. Levels play a role but are generally optional (unless it’s regarding comp). Geo can help esp for non-US stuff, and on team match difficulties.

Whats the recommended line length for bullets on the resume portion? Is 4 lines too much? Even 3 lines a bit much? ...By the time I get to stating any numerical outcomes or “why” the accomplishment is special I usually spill over to the 3rd or 4th line. I’m still able to fit resume to 1 page but worried if lots of 3-4 liners are discouraged.
