This isn’t going to be a good year to make partner. All plans are being thrown out and re forecasted much lower.

Sm1 - I honestly don’t know. I would like to hope the impact is minimized but it’s rapidly evolving. I’m not directly involved with this process but I’m coaching the folks I’m sponsoring that this isn’t good.

Not going to be a good year - I would expect at least 30% less new partner openings this year . And if this prolongs - they may defer the whole process to 2021

Possibly none

Really P1? 1/20th of the partners will still retire. Got to backfill those. Most B4 have at least 2,000 which is 100 partners out the door. If you don’t backfill those who will pay for your pension?

My husband and I have a huge combined family. They are also...well...loud. By loud I mean, laughing, debating, talking, all in good cheer. But sometimes arguments can erupt, and there's really no shortage of entertainment and sometimes drama. We're having a smaller gathering this year and wondering what's the best way to navigate all things COVID and health - we love to be close, hug, etc but I know everyone has different comfort levels and I want to be gracious and appease. What's your expert opinion? #QA

I am at a point in my job search (2+ years, laid off 5 months before COVID) where I’m really starting to think the career I have chosen doesn’t want me back. I worked in HR previously, and I have no idea where or how to start figuring out a new career path. I’m stable money-wise for now. But with the student loan repayments coming active again soon, the money situation will get tighter.Any advice on changing careers after 40? Much appreciated!

Does anyone at Accenture have insight on if candidates that received verbal offers prior to Covid-19 will still get written offers within the coming months?

Got covid from the UK , double vaxxed , and symptoms are wildly atrocious. Everyday I have different issues. I went from no fever to 102.4 in a couple of minutes. Blood oxygen dropped dangerously low and bounced back in a few minutes. Chills , cold sweats. My newest one is that my legs are so achey and sore it feels like they were beaten with a bat , just nonstop pain and can’t sleep. Anyone else experience these? Pretty sure I’d be hospitalized at a minimum without the vax

Have you guys heard of ayahuasca? I spent two months of covid lockdown talking to some guy and now he just told me he did this a few years ago... I’m really not a substance/drug person so idk what to think. He keeps bringing it up in convo, even though it was in the past. I’m trying to be open minded but it’s honestly making me uncomfortable. I’ve read about it, but if anyone’s willing to tell me what they know it would be help. My friends are pretty much like me so they’ve never heard of it.

Wife and I both lean right, her more than I. Both of us were skeptical of getting the Covid Vaccine. My job required it so I got it end of October. Well, my wife got Covid on 11/7 and on 11/14 she was hospitalized with pneumonia. Meanwhile I was taking care of her and our two kids under 4. They released her same day to fight it on her own. 87o2. She’s since recovered and I’m on day 8 of being positive. I’m overweight and asymptomatic. Seeing her fight to breathe just sitting up…

I tell myself that I've come to terms with my husband not being very thoughtful or helpful around the house. But I was sick last weekend and he didn't even unload the dishwasher or put away the laundry I'd already done, and when I asked him to help me by getting me drinks and stuff, he would tell me 'in a minute' because he was on his phone, and then he'd get to it eventually or forget. It's like, can you pretend to care just a little?
