I could be wrong but I don’t think it matters. I think all it will do is make it easier for the heavy billers and rainmakers to differentiate themselves.

I don’t think it matters when most people are working remotely, but a partner did recently say to me (in a casual convo about wfh generally) that he does think that generally advancement opportunities would be hindered/harder to come by for associates who chose to solely wfh once things are back to normal

Everyone else your year is working remotely presumably and you don’t have to work about people who are more senior and have already built relationship in working in person pre pandemic. Just work hard and make sure you do a good job - the pandemic (knock on wood) eventually will be over and you want to be as ready as possible when you are up for it.

Was really excited to work from home this week... until I worked from 7am to 11pm. These hours are much less painful in while traveling. At least I got to expense lunch! 😔
