I don't think Biden has had covid again and rebounded from it. Given the recent string of public gaffes/apparent cognitive decline/incoherence etc I think his team came up with this covid stuff to keep him out of the public eye for some time. For how long though remains to be seen

If you are flying to New York and want to avoid the 14 quarantine, what type of COVID test do you have to take before flying, and on day 4 after arrival? Is a rapid test enough or do you need PCR? Thanks!

Over the last 12 months my role changed significantlu so in Jan I approached the CEO about a raise and promotion more in line with my work and he said yes - but not until until the end of Q1 when budgets are finalized. Covid hit and I was told all promotions and raises were put on hold. I never got a Q2 review bc my manager said the raise was up in the air still. But on Friday the CEO sent an email listing 17 promotions, not including me. Im meeting w my manager tomorrow but idk what to say.

Long story short: last year in Nov 2020 I accept an offer for concentrix but unable to join due to COVID situation and got approval from the reporting manager it was only for a week.
Now recently I got offer for concentrix pune but they are asking to continue with last package which is below the baseline for this process.
When I spoke to the HR he says it's the policy and nothing can be done.
I loved the process but it would be really hard for me with the package.

Obviously we all take all steps to protect confidential information and realistically a caregiver isn't going to be exposed to anything we do, but does anyone require an NDA just to be on the safe side? I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

I don't think I have ever felt so stupid before. My firm recently hired someone who was barred in 2021. I was barred 2019. I took it as I was senior to him and tried to mentor him. Well the joke is on me. Because he worked for the govt for some years before becoming an attorney, they made him a SENIOR associate. He has 0 prior attorney experience. Yet he's a senior. Junior associate looking for advice. I was handling a small claims case pretty much on my own (partner copied on emails but didn’t really do anything). We settled the case the day before the hearing. Several weeks later, plaintiff’s lawyer sent me a release his client would sign after receipt of funds. I screwed up and agreed to this (payment before signed release) because the case had already been dismissed. Now I can’t get ahold of him to get the signed release. Am I screwed? What should I do?
