Will there be WLB for a Technical Lead :) ? Can any one share their experience?

I switched recently (3 months back) with almost 200% hike but really feeling stressed out. I dont want to name the company but I feel very little belongingness here compared to other one. The pressure of standing out and getting my work highlighted is impacting my wlb.
All the time in past about 8 years, I have worked directly with customers and current role is pure dev role with no interaction with customer. I am really missing my old role but I was paid less there. Is this temprry? Your views?

About to begin the recruitment process for BCG and am coming in from EY where I’m currently a manager. I have pretty good work life balance: 8 am to 7 pm and on fridays, I can sign off at 3 pm. People are great at EY but I know the work could be more interesting at BCG and also greater pay. Currently making $150k. Should I just stay put? What are the big draws of moving to BCG? I hear it’s crazy hours too…

I see a lot of posts about only changing jobs if there's a big raise. I jumped out of consulting into a job that pays the same amount, but has way better WLB, culture, and other benefits. I was just not happy at my old job and I don't regret the switch. If you're not happy, it's ok to move without the change being all about a huge salary jump. Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

A friend of mine joined a smaller European company in the NYC office and raved about how wonderful work life balance was and other perks compared to US culture and values...anyone else with similar experiences? Does it really just take working for a European or Nordic company to avoid burnout and be able to live a balanced life?

Can I negotiate with infosys with tcs offer and ask for more and how much should I ask infosys .
