Good morning everyone!! Been in hospitality for over 13 years and I can say that am ready to pivot to another industry. I have been looking to pivot to Tech since I have always like my numbers and I am a tech savvy myself. My customer service skills are top notch, currently F&B Manager @ Marriott and oversee many outlets and associates. I basically oversee P&L, budgets, Pcards, checkbooks, inventories. I enjoy excel and been learning SQL and Tableau on my own. Please help me get into tech 🙏

At the end of the interview, the person told me I passed the interview and they were going to talk to the Director who’s a level under them. It’s a yes for them and they’re happy to work with me.

I’m in the IHG Diamond challenge now and unlikely to get to the 10 nights total. I got the offer for $200 for Ambassador and 20,000 bonus points after a 2 night stay. I see the free weekend night certificate with a 2 night paid stay, but it seems you have to book an inflated rate for those 2 nights. Is it worth me getting Ambassador (and keeping Diamond) if I only have 5-10 planned nights at Intercontinental in 2023? Not very familiar with IHG to clearly decide.

I 100% did not requalify for Ambassador status last year, missed it by ~4-5 nights and a bit less than $1k spend. I still have it. At this point should I assume I’ll keep it for the rest of 2020?
