I would wash my hands, wear a mask, do my part, but yes I would risk it. Keep nursing homes on lockdown and recommend the elderly and those at risk to stay home when possible. Let’s start thinking logically here
Logic is scary. Emotions are awesome.
I somehow like staying at home. So, would keep quarantining.
I’ll take my chances

3 months equal no risk? I can do 3mo.
3 months merely delays but does not prevent.
There are reports of viral cardiomyopathy, stroke, kidney failure, and all sorts of terrifying and random symptoms killing healthy, young people with no underlying health conditions.
No way am I risking that shit if I can avoid it.
THIS. Plus the reports of permanent lung damage and all sorts of other issues even if you don’t die. There’s just so much we don’t know about the virus yet. Not worth it.

Will social distance and selectively move. It should not be extremes of either.

Give me Covid or give me death

Yes
Covid for sure.
Is it either or? Risk your own and others’ health now or wait 18 months?
How about we listen to the middle experts and take this a day or week at a time. In the meantime.... STAY HOME, and be a good person.
For myself? Sure, I’d take the risk. For my baby and husband with asthma? Not a chance. Plus, the potential to pass it on to anyone else I come into contact with.
The 1918 flu strain still kills hundreds of thousands of people worldwide every year. Social distancing only prolongs the time period in which people get sick. It DOES NOT reduce the number of people that get sick
In 1918 they had blood coming out of their eyes and ears in the pandemic. I don’t think that is still around....

No way I’m leaving. I’ve made it this far! This whole thing has just proven how much I don’t really like people I interact with on a day to day basis 🤷🏼♂️ But over Skype calls we are golden! I’m WFH until the daily Covid death rate = 0

I agree. But the question was do we continue to quarantine or risk getting Covid-19? My choice would be stay quarantined 🤷🏼♂️ Obviously essential workers are in a very dangerous spot and it’s not really a choice and I agree, we are lucky
Quarantine 1000%
Ready to risk it all
Rising Star
I’ve already convinced myself that I’m in quarantine for the rest of 2020.

I have petty much accepted this as well.
Already had it and for my personal health situation, it wasn't bad. I understand that I am lucky.
Would really like reliable data on antibodies/immunity, though.

Let’s change this fact pattern a bit: would you rather come out and be guaranteed to get covid/give it to someone you love....or stay at home 3 more months and be guaranteed never to get it or pass it to someone you love.
If only either of those were guarantees

COVID without a doubt.
I'm a gambling man.
No since another three months does not change the risk profile. Also, when winter comes it would double down with flu season. Not ready to be permanently quarantined. Everyone just take precautions when they go out. Keep wearing masks and don’t shake hands.
