Anyone here hiring for an SDET/QA Engineer?
I joined EY recently as senior manager, I am thinking to switch in probation period due to following reasons:
1. HR offered me lower than market standard citing my previous ctc.
2. Not eligible for current cycle appraisal or bonus
3. Unrealistic expectations of knowing internal tools and processes without any onboarding trainings..
4. 80-85% non technical responsibilities
Anyone in my shoes faced similar issues and does it change over time?

My friend joined a company last month on 10th. He got an offer from Qualcomm and he mentioned the notice is 1 month, but when he resigned he got to know that notice period is 3 months and he doesn't want to stay at the company as he has some problems with the company.
He wants to abscond, will it be a good move?

This is why I’ve gotten 150% in raises over the last 12 months. It’s the best job market of all time lol
It’s 9% YoY, only 1% MoM
Admirable work trying to downplay rampant inflation.
Are you The Vice President, Kamala Harris?
You know it’s not 9% month over month right?
Yes, it’s 9% YoY
Job hunt. My raise was only 4.4% starting from July 1. It was like a slap on my face. I just got a verbal offer, 7.3% over what my increased base salary would be. So, the pay increase from my pre-July base will be 12.1% that will offset the inflation. The new employer’s health insurance premium is $400 higher per month, so I’ll try to get a little more pay to offset that as well.
My TC is jumping from $185K to $228K but the sign on bonus is low, and, health insurance will be crappy (high premium+deductible). And the company gives no stock. Target bonus goes up, base is kind of stagnant.
Absolutely not
Got a 5% raise so now I’m talking with another company, possibly to go up another almost 20% so that would be great

-100% layoffs
Nope.
Haha raises…not where I am
I love these questions like they are actually legit. I doubt there is a single consulting firm who is actually giving raises now due to inflation numbers.
