The more I see of public accounting, the more I think my sociopathic tendencies put me on the path to being a partner.

My job of 25 yrs in property management with retail and apartments abruptly came to an end without warning because the trustees voted to end and sell off real estate and retire. I find myself reevaluating my work life. Being out if the job search market for so long I’m struggling to figure out where to go from here. I’m in Denver, my love has been travel to Europe. Would love to turn my love for travel into a career that requires travel to Europe. Anyone have any ideas if such a career exists?

Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

I’m a nurse of 9 years looking to break into health informatics. I’ve held roles at the bedside, nurse leadership, and quality improvement. I have a MHA with a specialization in Informatics but the program didn’t have a practicum. I can’t sit for my Nursing Informatics certification because I don’t have hands on hours. I have two kids and expecting my third - a 10 year old and a 5 year old. We live in NJ and work in NYC. We currently dont have a 529 plan for our kids; also not sure whether 529 is a good option for college education savings considering NJ doesn’t get a deduction for it; what other options are out there for college savings funds.
