Probably already 30+ attorneys. They’ve leased a couple floors in the new 830 Brickell tower. They plan to have a large office.

It’s still happening as far as I know. They are subleasing currently (I think I’m DLAs office) but plan to go to 830 when it opens next year. Supposedly Kirkland also leased 5+ floors

They are moving into 830 Brickell when it opens next year, which is touted as the most luxurious office building on the planet. This is a view from one of the building’s sample office build-outs for those unfamiliar:

Hey folks, I’m an international student pursuing a Masters degree from UWaterloo and looking for full time opportunities in finance and consulting for fall 2022.

I have one YOE in Private Equity back in Asia, completed a fellowship at a VC in India, volunteered to help an Angel investor in Atlanta perform due diligence and a bunch of ECs. My course began in fall 2021, by the time I joined, most of the on-cycle recruitment application deadlines were already wrapped up. TIA!

Question for the Biglaw Bowl: How common is it to take a pay cut when being promoted from associate to income partner? I had heard about this happening at some lower ranked V100 firms. But now that I’m more senior and my friends are making partner, it sounds like it’s a lot more common than I thought and happens at firms where I wouldn’t expect it. Does anyone here have any insight into this? How common is it, how much of a pay cut, and how long until your pay catches up to associate pay?
