Hello! I am a 5th year associate in a major TX metro. My base is $150,000 and after this year’s bonus expect to earn $220,000. In 2022, I generated $2.1M in net fee for the firm. Is this on par with what other firm’s are paying? Is it more? Is it less? Is it just right?

How do you deal with coworkers in your practice who don’t have direct knowledge of what you do (either on your engagement but in different workstreams or others who are not on your engagement) interpreting your ambition as back-stabbing and self-serving? How do you change their perceptions? My upper management loves me but a lot of my coworkers don’t and even though at the end of the day it won’t affect my reviews, I still have to work with these people for at least the next 6 months.

I will be joining GDS in Dec. Part of the comp structure is HRA and others including Flexible components. 1. What happens to HRA when you are not paying rent ie paying EMI for house on loan? 2. What does it mean you'll be allowed to determine flexible components that form a part of your fixed compensation? How can I make the most savings here?

My power got shut off bc apparently the electric bill hasn’t been paid in 9 months (since I moved in). I even asked my land lord in writing if I needed to pay utilities and he didn’t respond. I sent him both a copy of in writing me asking him and an email explaining the situation.
