Wish I could just fall in love with life again. I don’t remember when was the last time I was genuinely happy. It’s been 6 years and my mental health keeps getting worse

I’m trying volunteering and caring for others more. I’ve realized I’ve been very inwardly focused for several years, and I think that may be driving some of my apathy/sadness.

This is me. I was have the same thought today. Got no answer, but best of luck OP.

I am not quite where you're at but yeah I get it. Praying for you.

Man (woman) true love is hard to find. I fell for this girl hard back when I was in highschool, since then I’ve dated/hooked up with a lot of ladies and I’m in a long term relationship now. Never felt the same about anyone till now.

My first love was special and innocent, and I’d give anything I feel that again.

Hello. Hx of med surgery, cardiac, and step down nursing. Now in Psych, which is my passion. Been in psych a year but feel like I am not getting the experience with the patients I thought I would have. Maybe it’s my hospital. But thinking I want to go back to school to get my BSN and eventually my PMHNP. Looking into switching to home health. Anyone have any advice?

We’re considering adding wearables tracking to pull in health metrics for a wellness app. Let’s say we plan on doing iOS only and one approach is only doing apple health integration, while another is to use a 3rd party aggregator like Validic or Humanapi to integrate once and get access to Fitbit, Oura, WearOS, and tons of other wearables. Which route would you suggest?

I’m having my performance review tomorrow. Looked at my goals last year which was set before the pandemic really hit. Since it really affected business and travel I didn’t hit most of my goals. Plus I was really depressed (who wasn’t really) so I didn’t take much initiative. What’s a good way to navigate this...?

US permanent residency is finally in process & set for approval within 12 months. Need to start seriously planning to be able to retire here & feeling very behind (early 30s).

Previously lived in a country with more social services & health care so didn’t have to plan as vigorously.

I’m a high earner, so while I can’t buy time, I can contribute more per month/year.

Where do I start outside of a 401k? I’ve heard about RothIRAs but I earn more than the threshold.

Incredibly down right now. I injured my left ring finger on Friday and I still can't bend it inward to touch my hand. Calling to get an appointment with a hand surgeon tomorrow morning but I'm worried I won't be able to get an appointment quickly. If I ruptured my flexor tendon, I'll need surgery within 10 days to maximize my chance of a full recovery but I really don't trust Kaiser (my insurance) to make that happen. I'm a developer and it's going to be awful having a splint for 3 months 😢

For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance. Is that normal?

Hey folks, I'm getting an offer as a SC in EY UK. Presently I'm a manager with EY India (up for SM next yr Oct 2021). Comp is 55k range (haven't officially received the figure, a few more days it's expected, doing some homework before that).

I'll be moving with family. Wife may not immediately start working (,find a new job, we have a toddler daughter as well 2 YO).

I personally don't find this offer commercially attractive. Can someone offer some counter arguments?
